While a bit hard to find and get to, this utterly charming place is well worth it. The owner, Laura Cahnspeyer, speaks Spanish and perfect English and will do reasonably priced tea workshops. She offers a wide variety of teas sold by the gram. A tea oasis in a sea of coffee cafes.

When you first walk into E&D Café, it looks like just another great coffee shop where you can go and enjoy a coffee with friends or alone to work. But as you enter further, you will find the "café lab," all the fancy equipment they have to offer, and quite possibly some of the best coffee in the city. The really friendly owner, Jaime, came by and explained the concept to us and even shared that they will organize coffee workshops and classes for groups. Additionally, Jaime is a Colombian representative of the Italian company Nuova Simonelli - a company that manufactures espresso machines. The coffee at E&D Café is absolutely delicious and you can literally see that they are passionate about making you discover the best flavors of the coffee region in Colombia.

La Tornamesa happened in a very unexpected moment for us. This music/book/movies/wine store just kind of appeared in front of us and made us right away feel at home. More underground, you can find some books and music they don't have in other main stream entertainment stores while shopping for a great bottle of wine that you don't find in regular supermarkets. Don't be fooled by its location (Avenida Chile centro comercial), as it's very different from most of the store you will find there, it took us by surprise too!
